• Photos should be scanned at 200 pixels per inch at 100% of the size that they will print
• Adjust your photos to achieve a 5% highlight and 90% shadow. Also, lighten the mid-tones 5-15%. (Most noticeable gain occurs in the 35-65% range).
• Use moderate to heavy sharpening
• Black and white photos should be saved as grayscale
• 4 color images must be CMYK
• Total ink density 250
• Make sure black type is 100% black
• Do NOT use rich black
• Line art should be +600 DPI
